The old euroswapper.com forum is shut down.
I managed to upload the old database to a new empty forum and upgraded the forum software to the latest version.
This forum is missing the images and avatars which are not stored externally, because I see no possibility to download those directories because of lack of FTP access to the euroswapper site.
The copied forum is set to read only, at least for the moment.
All old euroswapper.com users should have the possibillity to logon with their old username and password.
I did not test everything, but I offer this just "as is" on http://old.euroswapper.hostei.com/

I think it is better, so you do not lose the old information and not lose users.

I will not lose any information from the old forum, since I have the backup and it does not change.
Also I will not lose users from it. Users who found the new forum and are serious will register I think and the copy of the old forum can not be found by coincidence.
When the copy of the old forum could be run on the old domain name you were right.
I'm still thinking of integrating the old users and posts in the new forum.

This would be very useful if you could do, at least users that have log in the last year and users of Good Swapper list.

Another questions:

- I do not know if http://www.euroswapper.com/ is active and you can modify. Would be useful to put a link to the new forum, or be redirected to it.

- Can you write in old forum http://old.euroswapper.hostei.com/ a warning with link to new forum?. Something like

This forum is a read only copy of old Euroswapper, new forum is http://euroswapper.hostei.com/

- Link to Euroswapper.com http://www.euroswapper.com/ of header (Good Swapper list, FAQ, Pages,...) must be now Old Euroswapper http://old.euroswapper.hostei.com/ ?

Hi - I tried to login to what must have been the old site but i couldn't remember my password anyway. So just searched and found the new site. Have registerad as a new user with my old username and was pleased to see I was still shown in the goodswapper list.
