Re: Netherlands 2013 CC Where I could find this coin?

All the coins that don't go directly to coinsellers or collectors through the Royal Dutch Mint will be brought into circulation in mixed rolls. So there is no possibility to buy entire bags or rolls of this coin through banks or post offices for example. The only way to get UNC coins is via a coinse...

Re: 2€ CC 2013 all countries

Is the max mintage of Malta 2e CC 2013 for sure 450 000? On Eurohobby, it says that the mintage ranges from 500 000-542 500? The (maximum) total mintage of the Maltese 2 euro cc will be: 500.000 coins in rolls 35.000 in the BU-set 7.500 Proof coins So 542.500 is the maximum mintage when you take al...

Re: Change in circulation coins from The Netherlands

Hi Mike, you are quite right that the new coins may end up looking similar to the Luxembourg ones. Moreover, it is a tradition that the new king or queen faces the opposite site of his/her predecessor. For the last 200 years this has been the case, so it is very likely that the head of King Willem-A...

You can by the way find pictures and mintage details of the coincards on the website of the UFN (link in my previous posting).

Re: About keeping Vatican coincards

Hi Viet Hung, Personally, I remove the plastic. I think it's purpose is the same as the plastic foil on for example the screens of mobile phones: to protect it during transport etc., but it's not meant to stay on. But on the other hand, I can't imagine it's harmful for the coincard. It just looks le...

Re: Hi from Australia

Hi Mike,

Nice to see someone collecting euro coins "Down Under". Welcome to the forum!

I have a modest collection of Australian dollars and commemoratives. Think they are nice coins to collect as well.
